I really think you'd enjoy the 27' more with a GTX470 or 480 in the future. 3d is kewl and you wouldnt need a new or second videocard to push 1920 by 1080 with your current configuration. However pushing 2048 by 1152 is going to be a task for a single 9800gtx.
