Asus Transformer Dominating the Android Tablet Market!
from http://enbeeone3.com/It’s no secret we’re big fans of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. First off, it’s $399. Second off, it can have up to 16 hours of battery life with its awesome Keyboard dock option. Thirdly, it’s display blows the pants off the Motorola Xoom. Forth, it can be turned into an awesome mobile gaming powerhouse, and connects to PS3 and Xbox controllers. And so on, and so forth.
Anyway, according to Taiwanese English news site Digitimes, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer is a huge hit, and has, so far, managed to ship over 400,000 units since its launch. This makes it the best selling Android tablet in the world currently. Plus, Asus was caught off guard with the sort of demand that presented itself, and retailers and online stores have been reporting stock outages and sell-outs for months now. Potentially, Asus could have sold as many as one million – had they produced enough in time.
Mama Asus didn’t raise no fool, folks. Asus is a very unique company, and has played the razor thin margin game before. They pretty much invented netbooks, and were hugely successful with that, even when every competitor on the planet got involved. It’s their nimbleness, their rapid product development cycle, and their hunger that keep them going. They’ve been doing so well in fact that they’re rumored to be launching one of the world’s first quad core Tegra 3 devices, and are innovating in tons of other cool areas like with their Padfoneconcept.

Behold a Multi-Touchscreen Tablet with Removable Hard Drives, a Smartphone, and a Tablet
While this post began as a simple presentation of the industrial design concept we're about to take a look at, it transformed ever so slightly into a work that explores what the possibilities could be for touchscreen conglomerations such as this. The concept at hand is called the Bento LaptopTablet Hybrid and it’s designed and rendered by Rene Woo-Ram Lee. This concept is sent to us by our good friends at Yanko Design, a site dedicated to such conceptual works. This design features a laptop with a 15? OLED touchscreen, a 1TB SSD drive, a solar-powered lithium-ion battery, an 11? tablet computer and a 4? phone, all of these bits able to sit in shallow depressions in the base of the laptop and connect as one device.

Kitchen island
OK, those of you that know me know I am about the most anti Apple a person can get. I mean really, why would one spend so much money on products that......nevermind...... I was told by a co-worker today about one of his friends that has a web site I should check out.
I always enjoy checking out new sites especially one named SpeakGadget! I could tell right away this was going to be a good site to add to the list of sites I visit regularly. The have some pretty good articles over there and some along the same lines as some of mine so what's not to like?!
The main reason for writing this tho is one article in particular that was pretty cool......even if it did feature an iPhone. The video is about a kitchen island that is accessed via an iPhone. I'm not going to say anymore, just go over to SpeakGadget and take a look!
Tribute to the golden days of gaming
BoingBoing posted this video celebrating the games of yore in a fitting tribute to some of the great arcade games from the past. I tried to name all of them, but failed miserably! How many can you name from this? Music is a cover of Mad World, by Tears for FearsRelated articles

Microsoft Spends $7.5M on 666K Nortel IPv4 Addresses
As part of its bankruptcy proceedings, Nortel Networks has sold more than half a million IPv4 addresses to Microsoft for $7.5 million.
The sale includes 666,624 IPv4 addresses that Nortel obtained in the 1990s. Of that, 470,016 addresses are available for immediate use, while 196,608 will be ready by year's end.
Nortel filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January 2009, and started exploring the sale of its businesses and assets in June 2009. Realizing that IPv4 addresses might be an attractive prospect to some companies, Nortel retained an advisor, Addrex, which reached out to 80 potential buyers in December 2010.
As Nortel pointed out in its filing, "IPv4 addresses will eventually be supplanted by IPv6 addresses, of which there is a virtually unlimited supply, but this is expected to take several years. Because of the limited supply of IPv4 addresses, there is currently an opportunity to realize value from marketing the Internet Numbers, which opportunity will diminish over time as IPv6 addresses are more widely adopted.
"In February, the Number Resource Organization NRO, an industry group made up of five regional Internet provider registries, said it had handed out the last of the 4.3 billion available addresses on the IPv4 system.
Of the 80 parties contacted by Addrex and Nortel, 14 signed non-disclosure agreements to examine more in-depth information about the IPv4 addresses. By January 2011, Nortel received four bids to acquire all the available addresses and three bids for a partial sale. Microsoft was the winner with a $7.5 million bid.
