Sprint to get Nexus One!

Sprint logoWOOHOO!!!! Finally! I have been waiting on this announcement for months now.  I want to upgrade my phone to the 21st century.....my Motorola Q9c has been a good phone and served me well for the past few years, but let's admit it....it's so, so....last century! No touchscreen, no apps to speak of, just kinda there doing what it does best.....send and receive emails. And it surfs ok, and has a pretty good GPS, and plays music nicely, and gets Sprint TV. But I want more! I want apps to clutter up my screen, I want to be able to get oily fingerprints all over the screen, I want a bigger screen, I want a more powerful phone! Google's Nexus One has now made the rounds to everyone: T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and now Sprint:
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Mar 17, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nexus One, the first wireless phone sold through Google(TM)'s web store, is planned for Sprint's 3G Mobile Broadband Network. Sprint (NYSE:S) will announce pricing and an exact availability date soon. Nexus One will benefit from Sprint's 3G network with twice the coverage of AT&T and 10 times the coverage of T-Mobile, both based on square miles.1 Sprint currently has America's largest voice calling area of any carrier reaching more than 307 million people in the U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands with a Sprint phone and plan that includes roaming. PC World recently said no one has a more reliable network than Sprint in a 13 city 3G performance test.2 Customers can check the quality of network coverage with street level mapping at sprint.com/coverage. via: http://newsreleases.sprint.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=127149&p=irol-newsArticle_newsroom&ID=1403426&highlight=
But now I have a dilemma, do I get the Nexus One or the HTC Supersonic? The Supersonic is a 4G phone, meaning if you live in an area that Sprint has 4G you will get blazing fast speed! Since I'm not in one of those areas (right now) I would not be getting much of a benefit. The really sucky part is that just less than an hours drive from my house there IS 4G coverage! Talking about a tease!
